yesterday i got panic about our marketing. i sent a voice message to my co founder telling him that we should start selling one of our previous products with life time plan to get some cash for marketing. i started to do some resource planning for our upcoming months and realized quickly that we will need a lot of resources, resources that we don't have. time & money wise.

i know that we need to run fb ads and tik tok ads, and also buy backlinks. for one project, no problem. but for 3 projects?(haven't told you about the 2 others that we planned, but will do in future posts) i don't know. will we have all the available resources for all of that? i don't know.

will spreading too thin be our killer? i don't know.

i started working again on our marketing today. organic stuff. trying to come up with creative ideas and try to ignore the fact that this will take a long time.

i am used to work with budgets from others, they give me money and i do stuff. otherwise i cannot work with them. this time it's different, i do it with my own and my co-founders money. and i don't want to waste our money on stuff that will not bring quick results. but who guarantees that? nobody. i know that fb ads could work, but we'll need several hundred, if not thousands to make things work properly.

i am trying again to calm down and work again on organic more. create organic content. first reactions happened today. we got some clicks, maybe we will not even need paid advertising?!

i need to unlearn my "running a marketing agency"-mindest a bit and learn the "indiehacker" way of doing things. with not too much budget available and use growth hack strategies more.

even though you would expect this from a professional marketer, i still need to learn the indiehacker way, this will take more time than i expected.
